Join child refugees to celebrate the Africa Code Week
For the first time, the Refugee Friends Care Organization will celebrate the Africa Code Week, through their Child Computer Science program, scheduled to take place on October 18 – 25, 2017. Child refugees will be taught how to tell fun stories using the Storytelling Theme materials, provided by Google CS First. Our objective is to reach marginalized child refugees aged 7 – 17 years old, whose 60% are expected to be younger girls and 40% boys from Kampala slums, including Bukesa, Nakulabye, Kasubi and Nabulagala.
Parents who have children aged 7 – 18 and who are passionate by computer science and have a laptop can join us to celebrate together the Africa Code Week by signing up on https://www.cs-first.com/go and enter this club code: 51blast, on your first day to get assigned to Child Computer Science program.
